JFK Medical Center Charter School
A BRIGHT HORIZONS SCHOOL
A Public Elementary School of Choice
Supported by JFK Medical Center
JFK Medical Center Charter School is a public charter school located in suburban Lake Worth. As a Bright Horizons School, we recognize the importance of the elementary years as a time when children take great steps on their educational journey of lifelong learning. They are ready to develop the language, cognitive, and socio-emotional skills that will lead to success in school and life.
JFK Medical Center Charter School is designed with families in mind. We seek to form a partnership with you to foster the learning and healthy development of your child. You are welcome to volunteer in the school at any time during the day, to join your child for lunch, to observe your child in the classroom, or speak with the school administration team or other families. Our aim is to make our center an active community that fosters friendships and creates a supportive network.
We know that choosing an education and school for your family is one of the most important decisions you will make. We pledge to work with you and your child for a quality educational experience. We also recognize that you, as a parent, are your child’s first and most important teacher and that your home is the most significant learning environment, where lifelong dispositions about learning develop. We invite you to join your child’s teacher in a partnership that will support your child to grow and learn every day — at school and at home. In the spirit of partnership, we invite you to join us in a commitment to share in and contribute to your child’s learning experiences.
Our school is committed to developing the whole child; with a focus on developing the skills that are needed to compete in the world of work; continue further education; and have the skills to successfully interact in our community. We value the need for close communication between families and teachers. We look forward to getting to know you and to offering you and your child a safe, caring, and joyful educational environment.
We welcome new families to our school and hope the experiences you have meet all of your expectations.
